Hi all! I have a quick back-up update for my final project. As I discussed in previous posts, due to Labcorp’s involvement in testing for Coronavirus and the protective measures of social distancing, the idea of me going into the studio and working with Labcorp’s video agency is highly unlikely. It hasn’t been canceled yet, but in the likely case that it does, I have a backup plan for my final project that I am really excited about.
When thinking about what I could do if my final project got canceled, I was originally really bummed out that the Coronavirus had interrupted my plans. It was after several days of thinking that I had a mindset change. I realized that I could use this time as an opportunity. I could curate and plan a video that speaks to the events and emotions of this uncertain time. I could use this time as a learning opportunity. And that is what I will do.
I don’t want to spoil too much of what I have in the works, but I am planning to make a short film that will showcase all of my new skills that I have learned in this course as well as old skills that I have been practicing.
I am really looking forward to showing y’all this, in the meantime, I hope everyone is well and is staying safe!
