Hello! Sorry for the lack of posting this week everyone! One of my top priorities for this study is to keep this blog updated and this past week wasn’t my best. That’s alright though! I have been very consistent over the summer so far and I am very proud of that. Anyways, I just wanted to give everyone a quick update on what has kept me so busy this past week.
So a major part of my week was focused on some of the Adobe Premiere Pro classes on SkillShare. I am almost finished with one of them and I am super excited to use those skills on my next video. I can’t wait for y’all to see it! Throughout the course I have been taking in depth notes that I can use in the future as well. It is all very useful information! This class has been keeping me very busy in particular, which is a large part of the reason why I wasn’t able to post much last week.
I won’t talk too much about this, as I just did a post about it, but I finally finished Making Movies by Sidney Lumet. It was an amazing read that I would recommend to everyone! Even to those who don’t want to go into the film industry! You can read my report here.
I know that quite a few of you have been following me along on my journey through the Legendary Cinematic Pictures list and I wanted to update y’all on that (you can visit my latest movie post here). I was watching the next video on the list, which was The Wizard of Oz (1939), when I decided that I needed to make a quick change to my list. I noticed that when I was taking notes on what I noticed that I had skipped to far ahead in time and too many technological advances had occurred in between The Wizard of Oz (1939) and The Kid (1921) for me to compare them fairly. I have decided to add another movie to the list before I post my reaction to the 1939 classic. Y’all will be able to see the new addition soon!
Alright, well that is all for my little update, stay tuned for the great posts in the upcoming week! Bye for now!
